2005 Chorizema cordatum - Heart Leaf Flame Pea-Flower or Coral Pea.
This shrub is a native of Western Australia. The flowers hold onto spindly weak branches and the leaves are heart shaped. The small pea shaped flowers are bright orange and purple.
This is a pot grown specimen in Melbourne and the flower in the painting is enlarged x6.
