2003 Adiantum aethopicum L. - Maiden Hair Fern
This fern grows from tropical to temperate regions and is found in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania and is generally grown for its delicate foliage.
The name derives from the Greek adiantos meaning unwetted and refers to the way the leaves repel water.
