2001 Platanus .x acerifolia - leaf of London Plane Tree
This deciduous tree is grown in the streets for shade. It has flakey cream and grey bark with leaves that are palmately lobed . Tree grows to a height of approximately 12 metres but can eventually reach 30 metres.
Leaf collected in the streets of Melbourne Victoria in autumn.
